"Read a lot of good reviews about this spot and decided to make the trek from Chicago to check it out. Turned out to be a good move. I ended up ordering two hot dogs and one would've did me. The fries came in a small brown bag and that reminded me of a spot I used to go to for lunch back in high school. The hot dog was put together pretty good, the fries were nice, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Two hots dogs, small fry, and a Coke hit my pocket for 9 bucks and some change. Looks like is a pretty popular spot too, and one I'll hit up the next time I'm in the area."

"Beef was good. I got their cheesy beef and I think it would have been better without the cheese weighing it down. Construction of the sandwich could have been better: the bread wasn't cut through far enough so half of the sando was just bread. We tried their Mac and cheese and it was genuinely the worst Mac I've had. Their fries and shack sauce were good though."

"Believe it or not this was my first ever visit to Hey Hotdog. Saw the sign Best Polish in Town. I was pleasantly surprised to find out they were telling the truth. The fresh Milano bakery bun, with an excellent polish sausage covered with the works. It was delicious! Their root beer is fantastic also. Will definitely put Hey Hotdog into my Saturday afternoon rotation."

"Not at all pleased and not sure what happened. I went inside and placed my order and waited for it. The food should have been hot and fresh right? We ate in the car because I do not like cold food. This is how my order went... Deep fried hot dog with hot peppers, got an ice cold hot dog no peppers with ice cold fries. Jalapeño poppers, so cold the cheese wasn't even melted. Tom-Tom tamale was dried up and old. Breaded pork tenderloin, don't even ask. Order of fries, didn't get them. I wanted to go back in but there was a long line and my husband said to just forget about it we just won't come back. I literally threw the entire order out! I dislike giving a bad review but this was more than warranted. Definitely not going back."

"I went to the location in the gas station today and it was horrible. They have a young black girl working inside and she is very ghetto. No customer service skills at all. She had old fries in the heating area. Her name is Nia. Don’t know where they found her at smh! I told her no onions and mustard and when I got home my hubby showed me."
