"During a day of antiquing along US Route 1, we wanted a quick lunch. My spouse is always looking for a great local restaurant while I wanted to grab a bite and get on with it. After visiting, I found this was a local landmark. It was recommended by a friendly staff person at the adjacent thrift store. The hot dogs were old fashion and had a nice crunch when you bite into them. There were all the usual fixing available. The one or two dog box comes with amazing French fries and a choice of drinks. We drive through Kennebunk a couple times a year and I will stop again."

"What an understated gem. We had actually given up on lobster rolls because Clam Shack had closed for season. We usually go up to Bar Harbor every year with our designated food stops. But man oh man! The HOT lobster rolls were the stuff of lobster roll dreams. After a few subpar lobster rolls this trip- Ocean Roll delivered big time. We also loved the truck and carnival tent eating area set up. We plan to go back up next weekend. We got both hot and Cold but preferred the hot as the lobster was lightly tossed in butter and the lobster's sweetness was still highlighted and the roll was toasted on the grill. The cold was pretty good but was a little too heavily seasoned- but we still thought it was a solid lobster roll. Just preferred the hot ones. We will have to try the rest of the menu on our next go. THANKS for being open and providing solid lobster rolls! See u soon!"

"Best lobster roll I've had yet! I got the hot lobster option with butter vs cold with mayo. That is the winner! Grabbed some fries and a root beer and I was in heaven. Definitely coming back again. Service was awesome! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $30–50"

"TLDR: they baited us into buying with false prices and modified the order to make us pay 2x the price per sandwich. The owner then talked down to us and told us to leave even though I was being nice.-Ordered 2 sandwiches that the staff modified on their own without telling us. They added extra eggs, changed the sandwich type so that bacon AND avocado were extra instead of only avocado.When I asked the owner why 2 wraps cost 2x the price he brushed us off saying inflation is the reason and that he “added extra eggs to make the sandwich look more full, and that the prices on the door aren’t current”That’s not my fault. The advertised price is the price. If not, warn us. Tell us you’re adding extra eggs, tell us you’re charging us for XYZ. Don’t lie and trap us into spending more.Do not eat here."
