"This place is a colorful, neon, neighborhood divey bar. I liked it. Walter and Donna were great bartenders, friendly and down to earth. We sat at the bar and got martinis. We did not order food, but they had free salted popcorn. Neighborhood patrons, friendly. Many tables full, bar was full when we got there at about 3:10 pm. Very comfortable establishment. If the prices for booze were better they would have gotten 5 stars. I like that you can wear anything here, sneakers, sweatshirts, jeans. Very comfortable, casual, welcoming, nonjudgmental . Normally I like a bar with a view of the water. This one is on a highway, in a parking lot. Not scenic. But I liked it anyway."

"Excellent Italian Hot Dog! Menu prices increased and I was not told until after I examined the receipt. They should post some kind of notice somewhere or at least tell the customer. Also I was asked if I wanted mustard, I said yes, and they did not addmustard. No big deal, I ate at home so I had mustard."

"I'm going to start this review a little different. Let's start with the atmosphere. Me and my wife sat in the booth section where we found it very comfortable and calming needless to say we loved it. We showed up around 2:00 where we were seated immediately. Are waiter Brandon was great he was very attentive and always made sure we didn't need anything and our drinks were full. He had a very friendly attitude which always makes the experience that much better. Now on to the food. What can I say it was all great from my fish tacos and fries to my lobster sushi roll to the crab cake sandwich to the French onion soup everything was delicious."

"We were in the area and my son wanted a hot dog so we decided to stop at Joe Joe’s. The staff was really nice and helpful. They took the time to explain the menu items, and even showed us the selection of bread we could choose from. I also liked the small touches and decor that added character and gave off a cute nostalgic vibe. We ordered a hot dog and single sausage on French bread without any toppings. I thought the portions were large and personally was not able to come close to finishing everything. My husband is from Italy and said the sausage and bread reminded him of the sandwiches he would get there."
