"Duck fat fries were wonderful as always! French onion soup ordered and was very disappointed. Many short rib in it (which was good) but the broth was very weak and had almost no taste. Expects much more taste and/or larger portion for $9.99. Chicken and waffle was also a mixture of good and bad. Waffle was excellent, but chicken was well cooked and bread was dark and bitter. I picked it up and the chicken inside. The flesh of the woman was too dense with not much taste. Probably gets back at a point, but more than likely just for ducks fat pries and milkshakes"

"Beautiful, inviting store that will become a social hub in downtown Frederick. It's great to have a reasonably priced store to be able to pick up a few necessities. There is a little bit of everything including fresh vegetables, diapers, household needs, etc. The owner, Diane, is creative and artistic making a comfortable space to have a sandwich and relax in the back room while surrounded by local art work. Having a wedding party? Rent the top floor, its a perfect space for a gathering. I wish her all the luck in this new endeavor. #Realtor"

"Last time I ate here I was transitioning from vegan to vegetarian and was so happy to eat cheese again. Their tofu and veggies are delicious. The tofu Joey bag of donuts with extra veggies did not disappoint. I'm not sure what other reviews are saying about portion size, because I ended up taking some home. All the different salsas is my favorite but the food is a bit on the salty side. Prices are getting pretty high, especially when there are so many similar options in the area. Now that I'm omnivore again I might be tempted to go elsewhere because of the prices and salty taste, but those days when the queso flowed once more were like a dream. The music and crowd was a bit for my bad nerves but that creamy cheese helped distract me. The staff was young and confused for a lack of better term. We had to tell them what went in the burrito and they kept turning to the big menu to recheck each item added. I didn't see a single adult over maybe 20 on the staff. They were pretty enthusiastic though and even with my social anxiety I was able to coach them through. They even offered to turn the music down for me. I shake when I'm nervous and the blonde kid who asked if I was cold was so sincere I just nodded and said yeah. Teach these kids what food they're actually selling and you got a grade A staff here."

"Best pupusa in area. We found it on a whim one day. Cozy place too. Was pretty quiet when we were there. Will stop by each time I could. Clean, friendly staff, lots of variety in food. Pupusa were warm pillowy and delicious. Very good prices. Mexican Coca-Cola in glass bottles available. Wasn't crowded and no loud music. Love all the rooster memorabilia along the walls. Didn't get soup but saw a few people eating it and it was huge and beautiful. Knowing a little Spanish would help making your order easier but English was understood. My partner and our kid got Carne burritos and they were huge. My beef tongue tacos were generous and tender. Wish I took a picture but it was too good to let get cold."
