"We are familiar with Bob Marlin from their previous Todos Santos location. We were happy to see owner, Rene, as the primarily bar keep and host when we visited one evening for dinner and drinks recently. The food is fantastic with terrific prices. Great seafood...selections. We had the shrimp ceviche large portion, huge shrimp and terrific flavors. Rene makes his own hot sauce and salsa, of which which my husband has bought multiple bottles delicious! As for drinks, they offer 2 for 1 from 5 until 7 what a deal! And that is on any drink you order. Rene is truly a mixologist. I watched him make his own simple syrup for my margarita, and he specifically adjusted it just to my taste. I watched him provide the same thoughtful service for guests ordering rum and cokes, as well as other cocktails. No premade, packaged drinks here you will be very happy with the service and taste provided with his handmade cocktail creations. Bob Marlin has a huge outdoor eating and bar area. It is located approximately 2 blocks from the Melecon, and we had ample off street parking. The bar and most of the outdoor eating area is a large covered palapa with ceiling fans. We observed several locals with children dining there as well. I believe it was cash only, and there is not an ATM on the site, so be sure to bring cash. As for pricing, very reasonable. We had a huge portion of nachos, shrimp ceviche, a loaded hamburger, approximately 4 6 margaritas, 10 12 Pacifico beers (including the ones we bought for an ex pat we met, and 2 bottles of salsa. All of this total approximately $65 USD plus propina (tip. Terrific pricing and great flavors, service all around. They will be re opening in Todos Santos again in November, hopefully. Don 't hesitate to visit this great bar and restaurant."

"I don't get to miss every time in la paz! a small vegan restaurant that is open with a beautiful and airy feeling, wood tables and some good vegan spruche on a wall. easy to feel at home. amazing good Mexican food-tasting vegan food. super cheap. also free wlan. fun vibe. the tacos are all tasty of themselves; and the spicy (see my picture) allows them to taste each of cilantro, wobbles, an avocado sauce, a hot sose and limette. the vegan queen from cheese from potato is a great compliment to the tacos. updated by previous review on 2021-01-03"

"Maria's is a sweet spot a few blocks off the main drag in Los Barriles. It's definitely worth a visit. The menu is more diverse than many of the restaurants in town and not too hard to follow, even though it's in Spanish.. We had a delicious chile relleno as an appetizer. Then the coconut shrimp (camarones de coco) and breaded fish (pescado empanizado). The salad that came first was truly delicious and surprisingly fresh. The shrimp were huge, fresh, well cooked, and loaded with sweet coconut. They came with a sweet limey dipping sauce. The fish was two nice fillets and perfectly cooked. It came with a sort of cocktail sauce, but I asked for hot sauce (salsa picante), which made it perfect. Served on a bed of spanish rice and a vegetable medley. Very nice service and well priced. The quality of the food made us think we'd like to try many other things on the menu. Easy to find up the dirt road from 3 Dog Corner (near La Casita), on the left across from their surfboard sign."
