"Like my husband said “they don’t play”. They are quick with service especially following patrons departure. They check on you continuously throughout the meal and bring additional. This was an amazing venture. My husband who is SUPER picky definitely ate his share into a food coma I did too lol The hot sauce “hot” for those who enjoy a good kick to the taste buds. We had : lamb curry, chicken tandoori with the mixed vegetables ,mango laasi, chicken strips (kid), house naan. The bill was decent considering most of the food could be shared and if not take it home we sure did!"

"Do yourself a favour, if you want delicious authentic Afghan food then go to Naan Kabob instead. Once upon a time Bamiyan was at the top of the mountain for Afghan food but the quality of their food really fell off hard over the years. I had too many bad experiences consecutively with their food for me to ever return again. Naan Kabob is where it’s at!"

"This place was fantastic!!! My colleague and I got take out mixed platters for lunch. The food is delicious! And oh my goodness did they load us up. The proprietors (a lady and a gentleman) were very kind and helpful. We were looking for someplace nearby to scarf the meal down outside and they helped us find a park. The sauces and the hummus were to die for. Cannot wait to go back!!!"

"This place has a really nice vibe. Staff acknowledgment with the different menu items was fantastic, but it was hard to then pick. Everything sounded really good. Went here with 2 of my friends today for lunch. We each picked out something different and decided to share. From Burgers to Lemon Gnocchi Primavera, fries are delicious, and their tater totes crispy with the right amount of seasonings. "After working all day I just wanted some wings, sometimes you don’t know what your craving until you’re too hungry, and as a wing lover it’s usually the wings. I didn’t want to drive too far as I was tired, I debated between jays elbow and another place. Jays was much closer so that’s what it was. This is definitely a dive bar, the second you walk in you know, and prices usually reflect that, this place could be the definition of a dive bar. The thing that confused me about wings here was that they have small and large, all it means is either the 8 or 16. I thought that it mean the wing size.. I ordered garlic hot. The wings were the definition of medium-large. Every one of them. I’m a medium to small wing guy but whoever cooked these knew what were they doing. I’ve never had the size of these wings cooked so perfect. Every bite was delicious and you can’t say that about a lot of the wings. The sauce was ok, nothing crazy, blue cheese was ok as well, but whoever cooked them deserves a medal. I’ve never enjoyed wings of this size cooked so well. Definitely a good spot to stop by, and the price 11.50 for 8 wings was bit unreal these days and I was filled up. I’ll definitely come back, kitchen is awesome."

"I have dabbled with Vietnamese from both Pho Song and this place for awhile now. They both have top notch pho soup broths, but Pho Phuong Hong really nails it on the spring rolls... they taste just like the ones I had in Vietnam! I've also had the vermicelli plates and the fresh rolls - all are fantastic. In terms of bevvy's, the avocado shake and traditional coffee are stellar! The family who runs this restaurant is incredibly friendly as well, consistently delivering with a smile and positive attitude."

"I went to the Red Rooster Portuguese BBQ in Newmarket. The food was amazing. Love the chicken breast slice . Also the dessert.. rice pudding and custard tarts . The staff and owner Dina were very friendly. Great service also and overall an amazing experience."
