"I love this place! they can reef or noodle dishes or miso nudelsuppen all made individually. they have a few special dishes that are vegan and I have enjoyed them all. they have tons of options for gluten-free or whole chalk rice and noodle and tons of veggie options. eating is delicious and super fast. I work close and go about once a week!"

"Walking towards the entrance, I saw that there were no lights on in this establishment. But the open sign was lit up, so I checked to see if the door was open. Then I walked in to placed my order, the customer service was horrible! I told the cook I want a three-piece dinner plate and a six piece dinner plate. Then I told him my sides for the three-piece fish plate(greens) which comes with it and that I wanted a separate side of coleslaw. I was mocked for mixing up the names of a 3 piece fish plate, and the 6 piece fish dinner. The cook even yelled to the cashier, to verify the names of said menu items. The cook also asked another cook. It does say three-piece fish dinner on the menu doesn 't it?(sarcasm) Then he said I just need your fish order so I can cook it! She needs to know what sides you want, pointing to the cashier. The cashier raised her hands and said, well I 'm helping these two customers . They were over there, talking ! The cashier was talking about myself and my mother who 's on the phone. She was giving her order to you , and she was saying all of this to The cook in my presence! Mind you I was on the phone with my mother she just said she wanted a six piece fish dinner. So while all of this is happening I was holding my cell phone my ear. But there was no talking! He did this as if I wasn 't there. Neither one of these employees tried to take a brief moment and really assist me with the names of the menu items. They just talked to me sarcastically, and mocked me while I tried to put in my order. I obviously wasn 't supposed to be ordering my food with the Cook. I am assuming the cashier was supposed to take the order. But I was never corrected. He took my order as if it was a part of his job. Needless to say, I just left! This just look like this was an argument waiting to happen about something as simple as an order of fish. I was not going to spend my money where the Customer Service was terrible! Also both employees looked like they had a long night of alcohol consumption or some vice. Weird!"

"We chose the restaurant based on reviews on opentable. we were disappointed. we were very hungry and our appetite was great. Some of us order Thai, a Chinese food. neither was tasteful. the waitress was nice. we are not coming back."

"It's crazy to see people review this place with such low scores but let me share my experience. For the two years that I worked across the street I spent 9/10 lunches here. My order was always 3pc whiting with fries. Depending on my mood I would get a dessert. I don't live in DC anymore but damnnnnn do I miss my meals here. Ordering here was always an experience but worth it everytime for the laughs it would produce sharks in 10/10"

"Much better when it was Golden Skillet owned by the Koreans. I ordered a baked chicken dinner w/fried rice greens. The greens were recommended by the worker flavorless. I asked to sample a meatball. I gave a $2 tip for a meatball sample. Only to arrive at my destination and realize all meatballs were given. I called went back immediately. They corrected my order and still no meatball sample, partially pleased! The baked chicken is a lil slimey pink and the cabbage taste like water. The rice is the best part. Veggies need a lil salt&pepper. This is a lil embarrassing to be considered soul food?Here's the kicker... They actually took the meatball meal back! What are they going to do with it?After meal update:Chicken was delicious and very juicy but yes still soggy! I got my meatball sample and I'd definitely get that next time!"
