"I love the free parking (parking everywhere under the earth and give your license plates to the computer in the entrance) and the friendly service. Always come here for dimsum, casual dinners, special events and more and are never disappointed. Eating is always good."

"We were in Oakridge Centre to shop for a watch and decided to enjoy dim sum at the Peninsula seafood Restaurant. Dining at the Peninsula is more comfortable than the food court. The dim sum was par for the course but the staff was not...as proficient as would be expected for this caliber of restaurant."

"I didn't realize this cafe serves brunch AND liquor!... And it has a great selection of brunch options, that are much more affordable than neighbouring restaurants. This place can get busy, as there aren't many seats inside due to safety protocols. There's an outdoor seating area, but on January 2, 2022 it was not heated due to the same safety protocols, so might be too cold to sit outside...get in early to get a spot inside."

"Granville Street is so busy, it would be easy to pass by this great little restaurant in the Marpole area. It is across Granville Street from the new Safeway. These guys have been in business for many years and the decor is a little dated, but clean and the food is delicious. We had calamari, Shanghai styled fried rice cakes, the house special chow mein with crispy noodles and fried shredded pork with veggies. Meal was served with hot tea and steamed rice. The food was very good, fresh and hot. There is a large menu of varied offerings to suit many tastes. The service is a little slow, but they get the job done. They offer delivery and take out. Parking is available on the street and some in a small lot behind. Prices are $11-$30."

"Food is no longer the quality it used to be. Perhaps we were used to a particular type of Chinese because none of the dishes now resemble what we used to get and we went there often 15 years ago.Seems the lower priced Chinese are cutting corners and maybe not using fresh ingredients. Too bad but seems like to have to go to high end to get good Chinese."

"No frills "Hong Kong" style cafe, do not expect posh seating and decorations. It is plain and simple decor although there are several movie poster on the wall. They have lunch special that comes with soup with hot 'Hong Kong' style tea which was strong and yummy, We ordered a shredded chicken crispy noodle and stewed lamp with mushroom and beancurd strip. Flavors for both dishes was good. No complaints, great location but terrible parking. It is in the same small strip mall as Chong Lee Market. So if you can, try street parking which can be challenging too."

"Ordered takeout, 2 main dishes and 2 side dishes and some wings. Spent $85 and was extremely disappointed. Will definitely not be coming back here. This place is garbage. We both felt horrible after, and completely dissatisfied. You can get a lot of quality food at these prices."
