"We stopped into the Beagle after work one day for drinks and an early dinner....I had a Ceasar, my husband ordered a beer. Just a nice relaxing spot to chat with each other before the night crowd starts to trickle in. We were offered the dinner menu and were a little disappointed to see it had changed. We usually order the sliders which were really good. However, they are no longer available.We tried the calamari and order a pepperoni and mushroom pizza. The calamari was good, though portion very small for the price. Then came the pizza. Disappointing. Described as loaded with mushrooms and pepperoni was a bit of a stretch. The center of the pizza soggy and over loaded with sauce. Oh well.. our server was nice...and we enjoyed our drinks.We did see the table beside us order nachos, and the portion was huge, so that seems like something that would be great to share and good value. All in all, it is one of our locals, and does have a good patio being as spring is coming. I'm sure we'll go back, just hope they do something to improve their kitchen offerings."

"The food was just okay. My husband and friend had a Reuben sandwich which was dry. I had a burger and it would've been good if the waiter had asked me if I wanted mayonnaise , mustard and ketchup on it before he presented it to me. The chicken wings were very good."

"My friends and I stopped by for drinks after a show and I ordered a "elevated skinny margarita." I like margaritas with Grand Marnier because they are not as tart. The margarita I received did not seem to have and Grand Marnier in it so I asked the server, but, she confirmed it was included. I only drank half of the drink while my friends finished their wine and special coffees. It was just too tart to drink. It took 15 minutes to get someone to bring our bill. They blamed a lot of tables leaving at the same time for the slow service. When my bill came they charged me over $16 instead of the $12 for this drink. When I pointed it out the server said that it was a double. I said I didn't order a double. She went to put the charges through anyways so I asked if she was going to charge me the correct amount. She responded by saying "well it was a double." I couldn't believe that she did not apologize for the error. Eventually she brought the corrected bill but never apologized. This is the first and last time at the 4th Ave location. The Browns in Tsawwassen has always been really good, but, this location is a miss."

"There's not much in the way of ambience, but Dentry's is a decent enough neighbourhood restaurant/pub, and one of the only places on 10th Ave to just get a drink without food.Kids are welcome in the large restaurant area and there's reasonable variety on the kids' menu. The front bar section is adults-only, but they will serve wherever you're seated.Good French onion soup and hot wings. Wings are on special on Wednesdays at just 30cents each."

"Decided to check this place to want after many years. It is a nice local pub on Davie and has some beautiful vibes inside. The servers were friendly and gave good service. The food was good and they offer a nice beer and drinks selection. The bathrooms were fun and offered a good laugh. In any case, will be back to try the crazy Cesar’s they are doing."

"I have had 3 wonderful evening meals at The Cove that have been delicious. The first one was seafood linguine. It was simply amazing and delicious. I have noticed that not many places serve this meal and so its a real treat and treasure to...find it at The Cove. The second meal I has was a delicious burger with yam fries. Both were cooked to perfection and I enjoyed every bite. The third meal was a salmon burger that was super yummy also. The service was wonderful and the chef even visited me and gave me some extra yam fries which I thought was so kind. Thanks Cove Folks Much appreciation."
