"Returning yet again to this unique CBD wine bar still with it 's excellent kitchen, but now helmed (since our last visit by an even more competent team than had previously pleased us it was no less a satisfying experience returning this time...than it joyfully always has been, these past DECADES! Yes, decades ! Its salutatory to realise just how long its been that Stuart his Wonderful Team have continued to deliver their always welcoming version of that uniquely Aussie F B identity friendly professionalism ,that is the hallmark of better hospitality operations Down Under ...in Sydney, Australia. Top Quality Wine is the very reason Fix exists.... who needs a glass? ..is their chorus! But a very very close second is the splendid food accompanying the always worthwhile pours... it does well to remember drinking wine advice is readily given ... you should always take it trust me! My seared scallop starter was topped with miniature zest spirals, those divine moluscs further bathed in a cleverly citrus assertive sauce: but at no stage was there more acid than there should have been,,deeply resolved kitchen work here! Agreeing to be up sold to a serve of FOUR scallops (standard offering is 3! , I didn 't regret the considered excess for one minute ! My main of perfectly steamed snapper rested happily on a richly complex white bean diced chorizo 'braise ' ...oh Joy! My husband 's flavourful deliciously tender medium rare Rump was a winner too..it followed lusciously tender octopus ... OH THOSE FIX chips..well they 're certainly highly addictive! We shared a plate of stunningly achieved Broccolini..a sop to excesses elsewhere I guess but crisp, yet righteously tender they too were masterfully achieved. Most Highly Recommended."
