"This is still our favourite wine bar in London, we are what I’d call frequent infrequent visitors living as we do in Kent but we visit whenever we get a chance. Last visit was just before the lockdown in March....when our concert was cancelled at the O2, we consoled ourselves with a visit to La Barrique, pizzas were excellent, wine good and friendly staff what more do you need."

"This place is great! The cider was all fantastic and unique, a great theme they lean into but don't overwhelm you with. The cocktails were pretty good too. The Short Rib was one of the best I have ever had in my life, blown away by the flavors and tenderness."

"It's one of those places you can't just go try or go once for an experience. You have to keep returning! This place will have you addicted in no time. I ordered a simple Black Iced Americano to order, but being a coffee addict I need to try their other coffees too. What I did order to eat was the Burrata and Crisp Speck with Figs! Since I was alone, I happily sat in the corner with my book, I devoured my lunch in quite deliberation and happy disposition. The dish was absolutely delicious. Simple, fresh, clean and wholesome. I impulsively also ate a doughnut just because I was feeling like a fatty, but I didn't regret it either, melted in my mouth, just so tasty. : I ended up buying artichokes on the way out, with not even the rarest idea I would be buying them when I entered. I have tried their cheese before, and this will be a place that I will now be frequenting every other Sunday, for brunches or brie! ;"

"I can see why the masses have died in vino volo, although it is in a very popular against bethesda. their wee prizes are way high for the tiny sips they get $18 for three tiny sips in one flight. eating is limited and simply ok, not bad, but also not great. our waiter seemed like a nice guy, but he always forgot all the water, cute, our wine. I don't think we're back."

"My fiancée and I wanted to have our rehearsal dinner in another place. They've closed unexpectedly 2.5 weeks before our wedding. We went to Honest Johns hope they could help us because we had limited time and options for a 35-person dinner. John, the owner and the chef, Jennifer said they were more than happy to bring us to a day when they usually don't hold private parties. What they put together so short was far beyond our expectations. They went beyond and beyond to make our tasting dinner fantastic!! Every detail took care and the special request met without hesitation. The food was amazing, the room was perfectly decorated, the staff was so nice and helpful! In addition to the rehearsal dinner we had brunch and dinner at Honest Johns and never had a bad experience! The food and service was spectacular! My, now man, and I will continue back to Honest Johns for brunch, lunch, dinner and always keep them for private parties!! Great atmosphere, great staff, even better owner! Thank you."
