"The service was very slow,; our drinks took 20 mins to arrive and our food took nearly an hour. It was not that busy there was no excuse. The manager was surly and unapologetic over our experience. I used to like Cafe Rouge as a chain but stopped going as service at our local restaurant became very poor. I persuaded my wife to try this restaurant. I was wrong. Is poor service now standard across the chain?"

"We have previously visited this restaurant a lot! And loved it, last year we visited three time and was extremely disappointed with food and service. However, we came back yesterday just as one last go, and I’m glad to say it exceeded our expectations. Food was a lot better, came out warm and well cooked with great flavour! Drink came out quickly, and the atmosphere was lovely not to loud not to quiet everyone was smiling and having a good time. Only flaw was the time it took for waiters to come and take our order and remove plates. Other than that we were very happy!"
