"Atmosphere, service and food was top notch. 8 of us were there for a birthday lunch. One little complaint, they stuck us in this weird back corner when we were pretty much the first people there. The table was so far in the corner, the servers kept having to squeeze past us to adjust the lighting, we had to pass piping hot plates down to our people unfortunate enough to be seated in the corner and several of us had to get up in order to let people out to use the bathroom. So everything was great except for the seating."

"I have new favorite! I am a bit of a steak aficionado and I must say they provided one of thee best quality steaks that I’ve ever had. Everything that came out of the kitchen was very well balanced. I don’t say this much but it was perfect ! And our waitress and service Was excellent."

"Highly recommended fine dining experience in the Pensacola area. From NYC with high standards for these types of restaurants, however, Restaurant Iron met those expectations in atmosphere and service, at least. My wife and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary here and glad we did. The Anise Spiced Duck Breast was succulent and perfectly cooked with the most memorable black berry Foie Gras we have ever tried. The wait stave was truly exceptional with attentive and friendly service with extensive knowledge of the menu and modifications available as required. 4 out of 5 for food as the Seafood Cioppino was a welcomed twist on the classic Italian stew however, was a little briny for my taste. Lastly we were treated to seasonal cobbler for our anniversary however, the cobbler although presented beautifully, had an overwhelming nutty/gritty texture while the apples, although thinly sliced had a rather al dente texture verses and expected tenderness."

"Small intimate restaurant with fantastic food and service. the waiter was very well informed about specializations and recommendations. ordered the iron rose and old fashion for drinks that were really great. then the rubber bears had for a starter followed by the Bone-in ny steak, mushroom soup, lamb and cheesecake. very surprised by the large portion sizes they definitiw the money worth. comes back definitiw!"

"40 years ago today we had our wedding reception there which at the time was known as Chappies. We decided to go back there to celebrate our anniversary with our family. They were so accommodating and actually had our table situated where the original head table was! The food was awesome, everyone had something different and their meals were delicious. The service was impeccable and Payton took wonderful care of our table. Thank you, Edgewater for making our anniversary another day to remember!"
