"We were in Portland for a conference over the weekend, and we're looking for a good breakfast/brunch spot on the way out of town. A friend recommended. We check out this please and we were sure glad we did! It's located somewhere downtown near a great many tougher looking buildings, but definitely maintains its charm inside. There were lots of brightly colored walls, chairs, and overall a general nice vibe to the place. We came in around 130 on a Sunday and waited about 20 minutes to be seated. Once we were seated, our server came and took very good care of us. They had a fairly extensive drink menu, though our main beverage, for the day was iced tea. It was lovely and very refreshing! We always love brunch menus because it's the place that many restaurants get to play a little bit. We ended up. With quite the array of offerings at our table. We started with chicken liver pate with fried saltines... This was very rich, and very delicious! between the rest of us, we shared a bowl of traditional mac cheese, a ginger and pear, waffle, a prosciutto, basil and cheese, frittata, and some of the better bagel with lox that we've had in quite a while.Everyone left very content, and the food was top-notch. We were in and out in a little over an hour, everyone was full, and for the level of service and quality of food, the bill was right where it was supposed to be.This is definitely an elevated bridge that has a higher class field, but wasn't pretentious. It was a nice mix! Definitely a spot you should check out."
