"Nice place if you wanted to have an unlimited booze while on a tight budget.
Bartenders were amazing too. So if you're alone, you can chat up with them.
Food is not bad, we ordered their Dumagete sisig. I would say it's not your typical sisig. I like the usual sisig better."

"Yoree Korean Dining is one of my favorite restaurants in Korea. We always go to the BGC branch.
Each table has a charcoal grill so everything is freshly cooked and hot.

My husband, my children and I each ordered the Lunch B course, which costs P898 per person, at least 2 orders. It's an 8-course lunch that starts with juk, a Korean congee, and 3 starters. Juk is a bit like congee, but finer. The 3 starters consisted of cucumber, kimchi and muchim. But they gave us 4 starters one of which was sweet savory eggplant.

Then we each got gyeranjjim, a light and super fluffy steamed egg that was served in a hot stone bowl. It is exquisite! It's a great accompaniment to all of the tasty dishes that would follow.

We all had a serving of Haemul Japchae (Seafood Japchae). Very tasty and cooked in parchment paper ... I don't know how that affects the taste but it certainly adds to the presentation points. You don't skimp on seafood.

Then we had Yangneom Galbi, marinated USDA prime short rib, served with prawns. According to the menu there is octopus but beef and shrimp were all we got.

One thing I love about Yoree is that the quality of the meat is always top notch. The beef we had was no exception - extremely tender, flavorful, and simply delicious.

We also had Chadol Duinjang Jjigae, a USDA beef tenderloin, tofu, and vegetable stew in a hot pot. It's a spicy soup that is to Koreans what Sinigang is to Filipinos (but it's not spicy). My husband and kids thought it was too spicy, but I just thought it was okay.

We were supposed to be getting mul naengmyon, or buckwheat noodles with beef broth, but it wasn't available so they replaced it with bibimbap. Neither of us has anything against it, because Yorees bibimbap is super tasty. Also, I think a rice dish like bibimbap goes better with grilled meat than pasta.

Our last hearty dish was samgyeopsal, pork belly. You will be served fried kimchi. Again really first class meat. I should mention that you can have unlimited green salads with your meal.

The last course is dessert and we all have patbingsu. The milky shaved ice is so fine that it has a powdery texture. It is topped with sweet ripe mango cubes, red bean paste, and candied walnuts. It's sooo good. Deliciously milky with a hint of sweetness, tartness and crunch.

My husband, the kids, and I all agree that Yoree Korean Dining is one of the best places to get Korean food here in Metro Manila. While it is way more expensive than the usual Korean BBQ buffets, there is no comparison when it comes to food quality. You get nothing less than premium meat when you dine at the Yoree. They serve all Korean dishes to boot. Some of the cheap places mix non-Korean dishes into their menus and spreads. No short cuts here.

The service is nice and efficient. They grill and cut the meat for you. All you have to do is get involved! It doesn't get as smoky as most other places either. While your clothes inevitably have the very slight smell of crickets, they won't be overwhelming. Ordering menus is the way to go as it is more economical and you can try more dishes."

"Good value buffet but lots of flies around the buffet area. Quite a few choices for side dishes but didn't seem fresh, sitting outside in the open for a long time"

"We have seen this resto while we were buying our fries because we will be watching a movie. It's just right in front of Potato Corner. My partner and I love pasta so we took a look at its reviews here in Zomato.

The place, from the outside, doesn't look so enticing. It looks small. But when we went inside, it looks elegant. The color combination is good. However, the tables and seats are a bit cramped because their space is just small.

They offer complimentary appetizer while waiting. It's a bread with a salsa-like (maybe Italian salsa) dip to go with it.

For the food, we ordered Organic Eggs Tagliatelle, Bianca and Boscaiola Pizza.

We really loved the pasta. It's something that we never tasted before but we know it's really delicious. By the way, the pasta we ordered is for sharing. But I think, for those with big appetite could finish the whole dish by themselves. We have ordered some pizzas that is why we shared in just one pasta.

For the Pizza, we also enjoyed both. The pizza is rectangular so don't expect a conventional circle pasta. But it's still pizza. However, the pizza dough is quite hard. I don't know. Maybe because we finished our pasta first before eating the pizza.

We will definitely come back for the pasta since we are really pasta-lovers. The pizza is good, but I think there's a resto out there that serves better pizza.

"

"First time at The Cook since looking for a quiet place to eat and were surprised the place wasn't too crowded on a Saturday night. The ambiance was quaint with the weird element of large teddy bears on most of the tables.

We ordered the Pork Steak Pilaf and the Calamansi Ade as both were suitable for 2 people. Wasn't too impressed with the goodbye as it was just calamansi halves in soda water with crushed ice. It took a while for the calamansi flavor to really spread in the drink, and even then it was almost all soda.

The pork steak itself was delicious and well cooked. The rice pilaf had great taste too and the garlic and onion slices added a nice flavor. The only challenge is that there was only so much pork, a hell of a lot of pilaf, and not as many vegetables as hoped. I was hoping for a bit more variety of flavors, but instead you only get a lot of one flavor so it gets a little boring after a while.

As a fusion restaurant, our food definitely felt more Italian than Korean. The dish is served with no frills and without the side dishes and sauces that we appreciate in typical Korean restaurants. It's definitely a chef-run place as the choice of meat options is very limited, but with either salad, pasta, or pilaf. But they're one that doesn't have much to say when you end up getting a committee on the large plate you order."

"Dined in on early evening Sunday, and the place was not crowded that the 10 of us were able to get a place. ???? The place was quite spacious and got 2nd level just in case the 1st level became full. I also liked that they have "grass" area where we can sit on the floor for more fun.

We ordered Surfries and Potato Cheeseballs for share and ordered Bacon, Egg and Rice and Milo Godzilla for myself. First, Surfries. The name doesn't disappoint. Their fries surprises with yumminess that it hot easily ran out. I think their fries got sour cream, salt and bit of BBQ flavor combined. It's yum! On the other hand, Potato Cheeseballs was just fine. Was expecting more bacon on the inside but too little. Also, it's not that cheesy. For the Bacon, Egg and Rice, the serving was huge. But I don't like it that much. Maybe I just din't like the honey on my rice. Also, the bacon would be nice if it was cooked more. I want it golden brown and but crispy. Finally, Milo Godzilla is grand. I was overwhelmed by the size when it got served. And it tastes Milo (of course haha). But I like it. Very very tasty. I wasn't able to finish everything tho since it's becoming too sweet.

Nonetheless, we came to play and we got that. They got plenty of board games. But I noticed that most of them are overused and some were incomplete. They should get new ones I suggest."

"We went here on a friend's recommendation as she heard about it through others and I thought it was a good place. As for my friends thugh, they weren't really a fan.

As for me, I though their food was good. We had their samgyeopsal with the side dishes, and an order of gimbap and teok-bok-gi. The gimbap was good as it the ingredients were all well balanced. I did not think any component overpowered the other, though some had longer vegetables for design which I personally could do without. The teok-bok-gi was a table favorite as it had the good heat. Their sauce was really good because it was not really sweet or sour, just packing that heat. The side dishes that came were: kimchi which was appropriate and it tasted okay; zucchini with the same sauce as the teok-bok-gi which I really like putting in my lettuce wrap with the meat as it had some freshness and heat; radish slices which my friend did not like as it had a really strong vinegary or other taste but I... read more"
