"Very good food. Went recently for lunch with my wife. The place is hidden in the corner of a shopping center and easy to overlook. Do yourself a favor and go and look for it. We had an amazing lunch. My hot and sour soup was some of the best I have ever had. Our chicken egg rolls were perfectly crisp and stuffed with filling. The crab Rangoon was crisp and full of creamy filling. All of this goodness even before we started our meals.<br/>My wife had the sweet and sour chicken and raved about it. The chicken was breaded and cooked to perfection. The dish was also loaded with pineapple, green pepper and onions. Their sweet and sour sauce is more orange colored then the usual red we have found, but we both like the flavor of it a lot.<br/>I had the beef egg foo yong and it was great. The two very large patties were thick and loaded with meat. The accompanying gravy was thick and flavorful.<br/>We found the restaurant to be very clean. Service was very good. Matter in fact, we went a little late for lunch and we were the only people there for a time. The lady at the counter came out and talked to us a bit. Her husband is the cook. She was very friendly and informative.<br/>We will be going back to try some more items on the menu."

"A late weekday dinner. a fairly expensive Asian restaurant (sold together Chinese-American dishes) with decent food. lunch entrées run about $7 per. general 's chicken had a good taste. it was free from sweet, some people and others harassed. was fair. some of the pieces of the chicken had a bit of a warmed over taste note that they were precooked. the brot on the chicken was not excessively thick and had a nice cripple. the chicken is generally a spicy dish and its menu also determines it as such. "I have a bit of a pho fetish, so I was so excited to hear from this place. When I was finally able to eat here, I was very disappointed. it had a thick layer of fat floating on the top of the broth, and was almost tasteless. I'm sorry to say it was just a diluted version of what should be Vietnamese eating, which is a bad representation."

"Food is terrible. I got the lo mein for lunch once. They used those crunchy canned noodles from a grocery store. Something like these. http://www.lachoy.com/products/noodles.jspEggs were overcooked. It just tasted bland and thrown together in the cheapest way. Really icky. I'll never go back."

"Worth Waiting For. I always wondered whether it was worth the wait to have breakfast at Jimmy's Egg. I wonder no more.<br/>We had less than a minute wait on a drippy wet Sunday morning before we were seated. The menu is extensive, and contains about what you would expect for a breakfasty type place. The one thing that caught my eye were the sweet potato pancakes. They are delicious, with a very nice sweet flavor.<br/>The hash browns are also excellent, cooked with a light crunch to the exterior, but not in any way burnt. The turkey sausage has a robust flavor that came as a pleasant surprise.<br/>The only thing I found lacking was the coffee, which was nothing more than watered down diner coffee.<br/>Service was very fast. We were in and out in about minutes from the time we ordered our meal.<br/>Jimmy's Egg has better prices and better food than Village Inn. Better service, too. It is well worth a small wait."
