"Living in downtown Palo Alto has its advantages, but also has its disadvantages. One of the most glaring is the lack of good, affordable food. Don't you want to be a college town? After teasing all summer with renovations, a cheap taqueria has opened a block from downtown! This new restaurant on the 8th. Opened in October 2009, has a beautiful decor (granite counter, beautiful chandelier/fans, flat screen television, but is quite small with seats for only about 14 or so. The owner apparently owns another Sanchos Taqueria in Redwood City and this is the second store. Sanchos has the standard tariff of Burritos and Tacos, but it also includes plates of Enchiladas and shrimps. While the prices are a slight premium to some mountain views Taquerias, it is still a bargain in downtown Palo Alto. The best deal is probably the tacos at $1.65 each. Caution: this place is only cash (for time is!"

"Terrible customer service, but expected for the price. I have good reviews. The guy took my order wrong and then was visibly frustrated when I mentioned it wasn't what I ordered. I didn't want to deal with his drama or his reaction, so I just sucked it up. People make mistakes, but his reaction was unnecessary?"
