"There are only not many places you can literally sit in the sand on the beach. The food was incredibly delicious. The staff was well trained, fun, relaxed and friendly. They wear my favorite wine on the glass. No reservations. Your text notification system for when your table is ready is excellent. Go early (right when you open), set up your name, take a short walk on the beach and then enjoy your meal under parasols (the inclination for the sun)."

"Mexican restaurant with big portions in Santa Monica. Came here post-hike for a very late lunch on a Sunday and got a table immediately around 3pm. Outdoor dining is available. There’s free parking in the back of the restaurant or you can find metered street parking. Credit cards are accepted. There are bathrooms inside by the bar and the tarot card decor above the sink was pretty cute (peep at the El Coachella one). If you check in on Yelp, you get a free drink with the purchase of an entree. They provide free chips and salsa. The food came out very quickly and you’ll doubtlessly have leftovers. The mule burrito came smothered in cheese and salsa verde. It had some rice and came with a Chile Ortega (a roasted green chili) on top. My friend ordered the tacos and got a hard shell and soft shell one. The food all hit the spot and they do have alcohol. For groups, you can get margarita pitchers. Overall, it’s a casual spot where you can get bang for your buck and enjoy some tasty Mexican food."

"Warning their soy cheese is not vegan. I enjoy getting their Thai Iced Tea with Rice milk blended. Their vegan cookie sucks. Its a decent place to grab a tea, though. Needs to be more vegan friendly."

"My gf and I just had dinner at this location. The food was average at best. I ordered the pokey bowl and it was light that had only 4 to 5 small pieces of tuna. My girlfriend ordered the chicken spicy penne pasta and it lacked flavor and was not spicy at all. Our server Jack was the highlight of our short stay. We walked in and he told us to sit wherever we want (The place was half full at best). When we chose to sit at a specific booth, Jack mentioned that that booth is reserved for bigger parties. A few minutes later, after we sat down at another booth, a party of two sat at the bigger booth we wanted in the first place. Jack forgot to bring us waters when I asked him to bring waters, he asked if you can bring us the check even though my girlfriend was still eating, and when I asked him for it to validate my parking ticket, he threw it on the table instead of handing it back to me. Clearly Jack wasn't in the mood to work tonight and sadly it's because of him that I'll never come back to this place. Great margaritas though."

"The restaurant is completely run down. The brunch was not like how it use to be. Not enough options and food was cold. Also, the restaurant in general smelled like a dirty gym. Very unpleasant."
