"Came here after playing 18 holes of golf so we were famished. We were sat down immediately but no server for a long time. We had to flag someone down. They never brought or offered any water, didn 't bring any bread. I was parched and I had to get the staffs attention to bring the drink I ordered. They forgot to bring out the appetizer we ordered which was realized when we got the bill. The rice was very bland so I wanted hot sauce but that took 15 minutes. I wanted some more white sauce and that took another 10 minutes. Our waitress was working very hard, I just think all the service issues are due to the place being understaffed. Restaurant was busy, but that doesn 't excuse the really bad service. We were looking for a relatively quick dinner and it ended up taking a lot longer. We spent most of the time trying to get wait staffs attention.I ordered the chicken kebab plate. The chicken was decent, the grilled vegetables on the side was just broccoli. I did not like the yellow rice it came with. I would 've loved to try the dessert and tea but I just couldn 't take it any more and left."

"One of my favorite things to do with my daughters is to find new family-friendly brunch/breakfast spots to try. Today it was Cranford Station House. AMAZING! the food was divine! It came out quickly, it was hot, fresh and delicious. Not to mention the portion sizes were great for the price. My girls enjoyed their meals and all of the friendly “seat neighbors” we encountered. Our server was very sweet and attentive! A must visit! We will be back with the whole family.Parking: Cranford public parking lot is about a block away for quick parking and an easy walk over."

"It was our first time, but not our last. Once you arrive, you will be welcomed by the owner. He was very kind. He immediately gave us the opportunity to sit inside or outside and gave us the waiting time for both. That was refreshing... honesty! You serve a warm Kalamata-Olivenbrot (from the breadsmith) and hummus while you choose your meal. Sooo good! We had the sausage cup. Wow! The mere scent of it was amazing and a bite of it was a burst of taste. The best sausage I had. I had the chicken souvlaki plate, which was very tasteful and my hubby enjoyed his gyro plate. Really a great culinary experience on our very rare dinner sans children! Thank you for good food and service!"
