"This place offers a serious feed for a very reasonable price, especially in consideration of the situation. the personal was great and I couldn't even touch the second half of my packaging because of the generous portions. scran does not apply “brunch” because they eat it between breakfast and lunch. it combines both meal times in one! also, treat yourself a coffee I was not able to find a more beautiful in an edinburgh caffe!"

"This place is a hidden gem! Home cooked Turkish food, reasonably priced and the owner is quietly confident you will enjoy his food...and he’s not wrong. Closest thing I have had to Turkish food outside of Turkey Great atmosphere, fantastic food and easy parking is a bonus as always in Leith."

"Dined there on our first night in Edinburgh, after long drive up we felt it would be perfect to eat there and explore more the following days. It was absolutely delightful, the food was immaculately presented, fresh, flavoursome and out if this world, It was sparsely populated with most people in there enjoying a nice cocktail and a pint of Innes and Gunn. I would highly recommend the restaurant, I had the Prix Fixe menu with haggis spring rolls. cod loin and chocolate fondant. It was all incredible. Just one word of warning, the wife had a cocktail that nearly knocked her socks off, they are potent and full of booze."

"I tried the vegan club, wrap and bbq pulled jackfruit queensadilla and they were all very tasteful. they also have a plate with broth, vegetables and hummus, which was really beautiful. they had some vegan cake. the oreo cupcake was very good! would definitely recommend it!"

"Waited for about 40 minutes and still our orders didn't arrive. Only the tea I ordered came. After a few times of asking, walked out disappointed with such lousy level of service. Ordered shawarma that never arrived. I will avoid ever coming to this restaurant unless you have a liking at being ignored after ordering. As a tourist, apologies hardly make up for lost precious time. Will not comment on the £3 tea which was the only item ordered that arrived. Other outlets in town or neighbouring restaurants are a better bet for at least being served. Zero stars."

"I love everything about this restaurant: eating is great, the service is excellent and the ambiente is beautiful. there were three of us and we ordered bruchetta and calamari for the starter, while for the main course I mushroom risotto, while the other two ordered both carved filet steak. the risotto came in such a big part that it is impossible to end it itself. it tasted great, but somehow the rice did not seem to be thoroughly cooked; could still taste some uncooked grains here and there. other than that, it tasted delicious with a hauch of truffle oil. the steak was great, but I would recommend asking for medium, as well as the filet is thick and the center could still...read more"
