"We've dined here a couple of times and although the restaurant is clean, the staff friendly, and the food reasonably priced, it is rarely busy. On our most recent visit, we enjoyed a dinner plate of kofta, lamb and chicken skewers with kibi, samboisik, pickles, hommus, baba ghanouj and garlic sauce."

"Horrible service. Food tasted stale and was not worth the price. Half the items on the menu were not available. Had to wait for nearly an hour for the mains. We ended up cancelling half way and walking out of the place. They seemed understaffed and there was no one to clear the tables. We had booked via The Fork and the restaurant manager ended up cancelling our booking inspite of us showing up so couldn’t leave a review. Wouldn’t recommend the place."

"This was probably the best service I ever had. Staff were SO nice and helpful and considerate. The restaurant has such a nice vibe and the food was IMMACULATE. And everything is halal !!!! Legit reignited my love for Middle Eastern food again, like I’ve had too many dry falafels that I thought I hated Lebanese food. WRONG, I just hadn’t had Mezzaterra’s falafel. I wanna gatekeep this place so bad because it’s my new favourite Middle Eastern joint, BUT also please go and eat their food and experience Arab-flavoured heaven. (Plus there were SO many mocktails with such exciting flavours, I had the turkish delight martini mocktail or something and it was divine) Vegetarian options: I’m a vegan and there’s no vegan mains BUT a whole heap of the sides/mezza, I was actually so so full. "Emily recently catered for a birthday lunch event. She provided a delicious mouth watering array of Vietnamese rice paper rolls, vegan duck pancakes, fried chicken, salad, chicken rolls!!! All my guests were blown away with the quality and freshness of the food. Emily was incredibly generous of her time and communicated throughout the whole process. I highly recommend a visit to the penny royal and can’t wait to back there again for the vegan duck pancakes. Thank you Emily"
