"So worth the drive! I've loved this place since I lived 5min away and now I will drive 30min every once in a while to get it. This is a PLATE, half shawarma chicken and half beef/lamb. It comes with two sides, rice with almonds and pita or pita chips, I got two servings of Mediterranean salad. I also got a side of garlic hummus that comes with pita chips but I got extra pita too. This is definitely enough for two meals! You can share or have for lunch and dinner like me. The staff is family driven and everyone is always so kind and understanding. They go above and beyond to make your food and experience great."

"The food was delicious! Reasonably priced and great portions. The atmosphere was formal and we were a little under dressed but they were very welcoming either way. Looking forward to coming back and trying more options."

"Amazing. Highly recommendedI can not stress enough how well the food was. My son is a picky eater but he told me the food was 10 out of 10 and if he says that it means a lot ?. He ordered Dizi it came with bread, herbs and everything were on a antique tray. I ordered Ash which was a vegi soup and it was so rich and nutrient. Also I ordered lamb shank . The meat was so well cooked and flavorful. I loved them both. And finally my husband had Soltani kabob I forgot to say that they offer a complimentary salad too."

"They have quite a variety of meat substitute items on the menu (fake beef, chicken, fish and pulled-pork). This was our first time there and we had a tasty hamburger which was surprisingly like the real thing, served on a whole wheat bun. I was impressed that all the paper and plastic products were biodegradable. They only have a few small indoor tables, no outdoor options, but there is a drive-through. The only reason I 'm not giving them a 5 star rating is because it is a fast food place serving some non-healthy choices, like the french fries (which, by the way, were delicious). However, if you want to splurge and eat some old-fashioned fast food, but keep it vegan, this is the best place in San Marcos to do that. Just remember they are closed on Saturdays. "We stopped at Thunderclouds because McDonald's lead was so long. Boy, I'm glad. The staff were all enthusiastic, friendly and knowledgeable. Caylin made our order proposals when we needed them. The purple haired girl made our subs in record time. The place was not too expensive and the subs tasted super."
