"I tried this place in a mood. It was good. I had a wide range of foods. Probably enjoyed the endless sushi. I just wish there was more of a selection of sushi, but what they had was good. I'll go back to Eugene next time."

"Kowloon has been a favorite of mine since High School. I have followed them through each location change. You can NOT find ANY Mar Far Chicken like theirs. It is made with huge chunks of white breast meat, juicy, falling apart tender, dipped in a very light amount of batter. Most places, its the opposite, way too much batter, barely any meat a lot of times its the stringy, greasy, dark meat. The Kowloon Mar Far Chicken you can get in many flavors too, such as, Garlic, Lemon, Orange, just to name 3, as well as adjust the spiciness, to your own preferred degree of 'kick '. I am 59 now will continue to have Kowloon, be my go to for Chinese meals, hopefully until I am 100! Try their vegatable fried rice, I ask them to add onions cabbage but, I ask them to take out the bok choy. They always accommodate every request, with a smile. I love to have my palate, along with my dining experience, genuinely pleased!"

"I loved their hunan fish and that's what I always got, I posted a picture of it with fried rice (which is missing any egg or veggies), my favorite way to eat fish, then they stop making the fish. Why! does that always happen. I tried the hunan chicken and shrimp and it is pretty good too, but I liked it better on the fish. Price seemed high, but is enough for 2-3 servings, so not so bad. The place is usually empty or one table used, which is fine with me, sometimes I want a quiet place to go out and drink hot oolong tea. There is communication problems sometimes with the owner. When my sister use to work there as a waitress there was a different owner. There were lines going out the door to get in. Tells me people must not care for the people that run it, so they don't even need a waitress, but there is take out and the food they learned from previous owner is still good. Thank goodness my sister taught me how to make the hunan sauce for my own battered cod. I ask for it mild, but I'm so sensitive sometimes it's still too spicy without drinking milk. Now i can put exactly how much chili oil I like."
