"The food is as fresh as you can get in an unlocked area. Portion sizes are phenomenal! I love supporting small businesses. The owner is such a wonderful lady. I had the two pieces of Wels with Fritten, Hushpuppies and Coleslaw. Then we ordered shrimps and mussels."

"I apologize in advance if this is Lengthy. Sorry we didn 't get photos it was only because we were too hungry to care at the time.TL:DR, best Chicken place I 've ever ate at.My Family and I decided to go out to dinner due to the time of day, being tired, and just wanted food. We pulled in and only had hopes of some food to just put in the tank .The name Chicken Max and the colors of the branding didn 't leave us with high hopes but we were already there so we stayed.The store manager was at the register and was very welcome. We told him we had never ate there before so he took the time , 30 min before closing and he was cleaning with his staff, to fully detail out the processes and menu items.We all got something different. I got the chicken quarter, GF got a sweet and spicy sandwich, kids got spicy wings and popcorn chicken. Here 's were it gets good.This food was off the charts amazing! Between 2 picky kids, and two food starved adults, we all give it a 10 out of 10. The mashed potatoes and gravy were amazing and homemade, the smoked chicken was the best I 've ever ate, the onion rings were amazing, the sauces were to die for, and service was prompt.Best part was the service. Its hard to find people who actually care. The managers name was Ron (I believe and he was inviting, kind, prompt, and a perfect employee. He told us about the company culture and how they took care of him while his mother was passing. This has sold us on Chicken Max.Highly, highly, highly, highly and without any reservation recommended this restaurant. It 's pricing is competitive and cheaper than most fast food. Not sure about the colors of the signage or the name (decore was good, lighting was good and sound system wasnt overpowering, only gave it a 4 out of 5 due to the nameinf and street appeal , but wow it was a memorable experiance and we will definitely be back.We even made calls to our friends and family on the way home so they can try it also.Kid-friendliness: Super kind, patient with Tymber as she ordered, and even described the food to her."

"This food was great yall! simple, delicious, portions on the sides were a little small I got large to share with another person. Mac and cheese was fire. Good beans and potato salad everything just the way it needs to be. We got the fish sandwich. The catfish is good and clean,perfect breading on that, crispy as all get out, prices were reasonable for what you get I'm definitely impressed we gon be back often thank you all.Vegetarian options: Don't come here for vegetarian food"

"Late lunch or early dinner. Sitting fast, our waitress was polite and helpful. I got the cat and my wife got the beef tips. We also have the fried mushrooms as an appetizer. Everything came hot on the table. The mushrooms were very good, not disturb with the ranch, you don't need it! My catfish was great like the Fritten and Hush puppies. The mashed potatoes and the mafia cheese were okay. (Can't go home all the time. The beef tip of my wife was not so great, they were less and not very tender. She steamed broccoli. This was our second visit and we will definitely come back. The waiting staff was always super!!!"
