"The food was well done. The black red snapper was the best dish we had there. The fish was perfectly cooked. The bed of vegetables under the fish was cooked a little bit crisp. The carburized oysters are the best I had on this trip. They are large and plump with the right amount of butter, garlic and parmesan cheese. You can still taste the oysters. The jambalaya Pasta was good, but compared to the other things that there was no chance. Large plump shrimps and a slightly smoked sausage make it a good treat."

"We love The Brick! Been coming here for years now. Tonight was a little off however. Several big parties may have contributed to a somewhat slow service. Food was great as always but the restaurant was quite loud for a change, but again several large parties might have been the cause. Despite all this, we still love the Brick and still highly recommend it!"

"Food overall was above average. Both steaks were undercooked but they resolved the issue. It is an open dining area so it is noisy. Service was great. Had a reservation at and we waited more minutes after our arrival for a table. We ordered the mixed berry bread pudding which was delicious."

Starting out his restaurant career as a dish washer, he opened the Tandoori and Curry Club on the west side of Hornsby twenty five years ago and has remained at the same location for all this time, building a large and loyal following."
