"The building finally found its niche. It changed hands several times until the current owner made it work. The restaurant has daily specials that are fast but really good. The nacho special on Friday is a great option for 2 people who are slightly lean on funds. A big nacho with basic toppings for $8.00 plus it's real food and not a burger? Not too bad! The restaurant itself is pretty basic and a throwback to the older Detroit restaurants on Bagley. Inside are old saddles and even a really old piece of great Americana history on one wall which the owners have no idea about! Overall, the environment is basic, relaxed, and clean. It really has the charm of a small family owned Taqueria. I gave it four outta five stars only because the food is always hot, fresh, and delicious but sometimes the dinners could be a little meatier, if meatier makes sense? However, that's an issue in many places and I assume it's a problem with cooks more than the establishment. Besides, 5 stars says perfection and I can't wait to say any place was perfect so 4 outta 5 is pretty good for a little place.Finally, we eat there often enough but tend to use the carry-out menu at least once or twice a month. The staff is really nice and always strive to ensure our orders are perfect."

"My daughter, who I come to the city every Saturday for her art class, and we always stay with eating in the city. I always leave it to her....Dos tacos was choice yesterday. we had the locco pollo and classico tacos A-MAZING! we also shared and order of guacamole, wow! maybe 5 minutes from the order to the table. the gentleman in register could no longer have been human and polite. this place will not disappoint and we will definitely be back! thanks dos tacos!"

"The Tanglefoot Saloon upstairs event space is a must see for anyone wanting to throw a party for 25-40 people, it turned out fabulous! Lucky is the best bartender ever and treated us to the best mixed drinks I have had in ages. My sisters 40th birthday party was marvelous, the room is very trendy, it has that sorta steampunk vintage prohibition speak easy look, the edison lights hanging from the ceiling look stunning. So much space, your own bar, restroom, we rented until 10pm then the party was taken downstairs to the lively dance floor, the DJ and video screen brought such energy to the room, there was a firepit at the outdoor pavilion. It was more than expected, we could not have asked for more. The fingerfood spread they catered was delicious, our guests could not have been more pleased!! There is a parking lot across the road for $5.00, some street parking and meter parking which is free after 7pm. Good to get there a little early and hang out in the surroundings and have dinner, then come in later enjoy the night life! It was great!!! Local Airbnb's in the area have rooms and whole apartments for rent, some cheaper than a hotel room, I rented one for my sister, it was very nice, also lyft and uber rides available if you prefer, some of our guests decided to take advantage of that option since they did not have a designated driver. I guarantee you will not be disappointed! Good people! See Casey, he will hook you up with an event space! Or you could just come down to the Atomic Cowboy to have some fun! The food there is awesome too if you just want to have dinner there some evening around 5pm, before the fun starts!"
