Visit #1: Food was wonderful, Ellie our server (sorry if I spelled it incorrectly) was fantastic. I got the Shrimp Po Boy with onionstraws, and a side salad with blue cheese dressing (really good, obviously made in house) and Ice Tea..highly recommend tryingit out!"

"We ordered the Club, Ribs, loaded cheese fries and kids Chicken strips. All the food was excellent except the corn on the cob wasn't fresh. This is why I gave it a 4 instead of a 5. Service was great, fast waitress was friendly."

"Gary's Sling Blade Dairy Bar has been made famous by the movie Sling Blade staring Billy Bob Thornton and Dwight Yoakam which debut November 27th 1996. Today's experience was that that you would expect on your local hometown Dairy Bar. The food was hot and fresh the drinks were cold and mixed just right. Takes you back to that Old Town hometown goodness of a wonderful local Dairy Bar. I see now why it was such important addition to the movie. The ice cream is second to none and you must stop in and try fresh made Sundae or a milkshake or malt. (Be sure to place a large order french fried taters with a side of mustard."

"The only thing was we drove aways to go there and all was very good except you did not have any regular fried shrimp, just the pieces, which means there was not enough shrimp to taste, mostly breading. Will go again and hopefully it continues to be just as good. Oh yes, the staff was very,very nice also."
