"Restroom was ok but sink didn’t have hot water and there’s no towels — only the air dryer that blasts and spreads germs IMO, especially when people don’t wash their hands adequately. Stall showed “occupied” but it was not."

"2 days in a row now. Ordered dr pepper route 44 and got very syrupy cherry vanilla dr pepper more like a little dr pepper with the syrup and to add insult to injury the incident yesterday included a diet dr pepper intended for a diabetic and got a syrupy regular dr pepper nothing diet about it and that syrup may as well be straight sugar to a diabetic. Normally I refuse to do reviews on fast food places however..............."

"I had been wanting to try this for a few weeks but my work schedule unfortunately did not allow it. Well today I visited Kikis for the first time!! OMG the watermelon sugar bowl was amazing. Met the owner and she was amazing as well. It was not like any other shaved ice I have ever had."

"A perfect little spot that looks like an indoor patio. We almost walked past it coming from Crows Coffee next door, but thankfully there were funny signs out front to guide us :)I was afraid that making 4 decisions would be overwhelming (top cookie, bottom cookie if different, ice cream and topping decor around the sides), but it was pretty straightforward with about 8 options of each.The brookie (brownie-cookie blend) was the easy choice for me for both top and bottom cookie. (And it was delish.)They'll let you taste the ice creams, which is more helpful for determining your plan than anything. They care a lot of familiar standards (vanilla, strawberry, moose tracks mmm) but also a caramel espresso and a bright blue cookie-laden option. We went with moose tracks to offset the sweet brookies with a little vanilla and chocolate blend. (Also, love that they use local Belfonte!)Then came the rolled topping: finally landed on Oreo and it was a wise choice.Another wise choice? Bringing a friend! We shared one sandwich and it was plenty of sweet treat for each of us!"

"I hadn't planned on eating at Emily's today, in fact, I didn't know it existed. I was actually trying to make a repeat visit to my new favorite African restaurant across the street and they were closed for the day. I didn't want to leave the neighborhood on an empty stomach so I looked across the street and there was Emily's with her sandwich board on the sidewalk and vibrant signage. I ordered 2 tacos pastor and an asada tostado. They were all piled full of meat. The $2 tacos had the traditional cilantro and chopped onions on double stacked tortillas, while the tostado had a good layer of beans on a crispy fried tortilla. With a small mountain of lettuce, crema and powdered cheese, the tostado was a $3 masterpiece. green and red sauce were provided. My only complaint is that there is not a sauce condiment bar like most taco shops provide. Emily's is another great taco option in the Northeast neighborhood of KC that also serves as a paleteria (ice cream, fruit juices..."
