"Love the atmosphere and the personal was very friendly. the margherita pizza was absolutely tasty and very authentic what they find in italia. the paprika was perhaps something to load and something oily, but that was not a big problem. they also have a sweet dog menu that I think was very sweet."

"I have a spicy Pesto pizza and while the crust tasted well, the pizza was missing. The pesto was almost completely tasteless, some salt would have brought it a little more together. Would go to the fully vegan pizza shop instead next time. Edit: came back a year later and got the vegan ozzy 2.0 and so good!! It would come back. Updated by previous review on 2022-01-31"

"Not so dog friendly. Although they accept dogs here, it's not a place to bring them. The gardens in front of the hotel is the only restricted space in Kemp Town that you are not allowed to take your dogs on. There are six alternative open spaces within two miles of the New Stein. See the sign from the council. Which is absolutely terrible if you need to take your dog out for a quick break at night. The hotel also has a restriction that you are not allowed to leave your dog in the room unattended. So you can't leave them for an hour or so to go out to a restaurant or bar. Yes there are dog friendly places to go but not if you want to go somewhere upmarket that dogs are not allowed. Parking is a joke. On street parking outside the hotel is £14.80 for 24hrs pay and display. You can get a discount voucher from the hotel which is only valid in permit holder resident bays which are nowhere the hotel. That's if you can find one after driving round and round endlessly. The hotel itself is run by a French gentleman who can be very off hand with answers to any questions you have. Rooms are clean and compact. Bathrooms small with the flow of water from taps as slow as an old man with prostrate problems. Full English if you can call it that. See the pic. At £12.50 was not worth it. Which took at least half an hour from ordering. Staff were pleasant enough. Booked here because it's supposed to be AA four star and recommended breakfast. The inspector must of been Stevie Wonder."

"This was a last minute booking for 14 people via open table, they called me up and asked if the party could get there a little earlier, which we did. The waiter, whom i presumed was the owner was brilliant, as was the food. The layout and decor wasnt Blue Chip but the food more than made up for it.."
