"The food was good. I had the chicken rolls. it had an Asian taste, very tasty and different. the outside tasted like veggie spring rolls. the inner was not a taste I expected bc I thought of a prepacked egg roll; this egg roll tasted very authentic. it was really full of taste. I also had the lobster bisque that had a buttery taste. not too thick and not too thin. it was served with the right amount of lobster. croutons were also served on the plate and that was added taste. I ordered the salmon, well done, and this dish came with red kartoffels, sautéed spinat and spade. the salmon was great. it was not dry, it was not a taste, it was grilled and well seasoned. this spinat asparagus could have been a bit more embellished, they were slightly embellished; this made the spinat a little difficult to grasp with the fork and the spatula was a little more challenging to eat because it was crispy and there were several pieces that fork would simply not go dirty. Overall, eating was really good, the bill was reasonable. the personal was nice. I sat on the bar. also there she was attentive, pleasant, helpful and polite. the environment was calm and positiw, you could hear here and there laughing, but not too much to interrupt a meal. the seat was at a distance. it was not full; I live this place has a lot of space. even at the bar could sit a party and still be socially removed. the design and the device fits to the comfort level required during this pandemic."

"Love it!!! Island fusion, mango, watermelon, green apple, lemon with fluffy vanilla custard for a refreshing gelati. Or chocolate with peanut butter sauce and Oreos if you’re feeling rich and decadent. My gosh it is so good. If you go in the day time, you’ll meet the owner who is a wonderful, kind, fun to talk to kinda guy. If you go at night, Yes he will probably have to wait in line. It’s an Italian ice place on the beach. Get over it and enjoy hanging out in the line and making new friends. The girls who work at night are absolutely lovely, and they work so hard. I have seen people be such horribly rude jerks to those girls, and they are more professional than 90% of the people I run into on a regular basis. The price, I think, is incredibly reasonable because the product is excellent. If you want cheaper dessert, you could go to the dollar store and buy a pack of weird lackluster ice cream bars made with fakey chocolate. Watch out, haters… these girls can take your BS with class and grace even though they should not have to. You’ll be charging their electric vehicles someday!! The life skills and the people skills they are learning at Rita’s is going to take them incredibly far. Anyways, Cheers to Rita’s Jax Beach! See ya soon. "You know that familiar smell when you walk into your Grandma's house? That's exactly what it felt like when i walked into the Beach Hut Cafe this morning. I stopped in here after a run on the beach and it completely hit the spot. As I sat sipping my coffee waiting for my breakfast to cone out, I watched as all the waitresses and staff smiled and welcomed people as they walked in the door. It was like every one was a regular and they knew them all by name. Definitely a place I will come back to again!!"

"One of my favorite breakfasts and lunch places to take a coffee and snack and knock some work. great mood on the beach with a great staff. eating is phenomenal and comes out quickly. wifi is really good. you must die. I'll go all two weeks here and bring my wife and my children. highly recommended!"

"I’m a Jax native but have lived in Dallas for a while now. We have the best Mexican Tex Mex food in Texas. Obviously because Tex Mex was created in Texas. However, I always crave TacoLu’s Baja style tacos and food when we’re in town every month. I haven’t found anywhere that does the Carne Royale Tacos or comes close. They’re my favorite and the flavors work so well together. I wish there was more room at Bar and a bit easier to order drinks while waiting sometimes up to an hour for a table. We’ve been coming to Lu since it opened and the bar staff isn’t the most friendly on certain days. Some days they’re great. The hosts/ hostesses/ waitstaff are always amazing. I didn’t want to take off a star for the bar staff on this visit which was a Sunday early afternoon, but I wish they were consistently nice. As business owners in Jax Dallas I know it’s hard to find the perfect team and you can’t teach personality. We also bring our employees here for drinks and food to treat them. The Tamarind and Jalapeño Margaritas are always amazing! Our go to tacos are the Carne Royal the $10 taco. We’ve had all the tacos on the menu but those two never disappoint. Our sever Malakai was definitely one of the nicest servers we’ve had in a long time!"
