"My boyfriend and I were having a delicious dinner in a beautiful location and we were served by an even better waitress. The food was amazing everything comes as small dishes, so you can share and taste all kind of different foods. Excellent!!"

"I visited this place as part of a large group (phone ahead to reserve a table) and we all shared 3 large pots of fondue. It is a fairly pricey restaurant, but is very good quality and the staff are very welcoming. If you don't like fondue there are also plenty of dishes to choose from on the menu."

"We went there yesterday for a business meeting. We had a lovely Sushi platter to share and the amazing Knusprige Entenbrust mit Orangensauce and some fried rice. The meet was tender and the skin very crisp. Overall it was quite a big portion. But all very very yummy."

"Since many year, this restaurant is kind of a landmark of the region and it went through its share of changes over time. I do know the place since the early eighties. Recently my wife and I decided to enjoy an early summer evening in the garden of the Geerlisburg, having a light dinner and a nice bottle of wine. The place looks still the same as it did some 30 years ago and the view on a clear spring day towards the Swiss Alps is still marvelous. But this comes at a price: we were utterly amazed to find out that a simple local dish like geschnetzeltes roesti would set us back some 42 Swiss Francs! The prices for most of the other items on the menu were in the same region. I mean: this is a simple garden restaurant, not a posh venue somewhere in the middle of Zuerich! Not surprisingly, the prices on the winelist could happily compete with the ones on the menu. Well, we bit the bullet and each of us ordered one of the Asparagus dishes, telling ourselves that the high price would be justified by the vista. This of course only works on a fine day with clear skies... Oh by the way: the food was nice!"
