"We stopped here for a mid-afternoon lunch after a long hike down from the top of the Metsch summit station. This place is a welcome sight after hours being on the trail. They have ample shaded seating on an outside terrace facing the falls and the mountains. Service is not the quickest, though people were extremely warm and friendly, especially to those with children and dogs. The menu offers traditional Swiss food and has many options. Portions are large and prices are quite reasonable. The desserts and ice cream menu are quite elaborate. Many people obviously had come just for coffee and dessert. There is a large playground near the terrace and a teepee with interesting animal artifacts inside to see. Overall, this is a very family-friendly restaurant in a beautiful location at the end of the Lenk im Simmental area. It is is clear by the number of customers that this place is a favorite and lives up to its name."
