"We celebrated our wedding in the green tree in October. Hannah and the team made sure we had a wonderful celebration. Thanks to good weather we were able to use the great outdoor area. The meal was then served in the beautifully decorated dining room. The inn has a great cozy atmosphere. The food was very tasty, which our guests also reported. We felt completely taken care of, whether it was about staying overnight in the hotel or any special requests. We would definitely choose the green tree as a location again! Rooms: Cozy rooms, clean, some with a historical background. Food drinks: Delicious dishes, including vegetarian and vegan options, were also possible."

"If you enter the Colombo 7, you will immediately be verbally taken by an absolutely warm owner and in detail about the current menus and conditions of the Singhalian cuisine. After we had the quality of choice here, we chose the Lamprais, a spinach-linen soup and the Wattalapam ice cream. Lamprais was served in a heated banana leaf and was already a visual experience. The combination of eggplants, potatoes, jackfruit, vegetable balls, lentils, onions and other fruit/ vegetables on the yellow rice confirmed what the eye had to expect. The desired degree of sharpness for the Lamprais is required during the order. The spinach soup had a wonderful coconut note and had a discreet sharpness. Lentil flour chips were added, one of which would expect a more neutral taste. Instead, they had a pleasant lens aroma, without being too powerful in combination with lens soup. The Wattalapam ice cream rounded off our evening perfectly with a hearty touch. We had a warm chai with almond milk."
