"An old tavern full of historical architectural interest in the heart of the old town of ribadavia, scene of the galizienfilm esmorga. the owners santiago, risa, maika pepe will ensure that they have a fantastic time. Their craftsmanship wines are also unique, served by D.O ribeiro from traditional ceramic dishes. the tapas like green paprika from arnoia or cheese perfectly to go with the weeps. the clientele really friendly including many wine farmers from the opposite. there is also a beautiful back garden terrace. a must see."

"If you are in Galicia I recommend a trip just to have lunch at Sabrego. Off the beaten track with beautiful views of a valley, this restaurant is the epitome of classic country dinning where you could bump into politicians or movie stars but in a relaxed friendly way. The most amazing dessert of avocados and lime.. sounds strange but just try it!! Educated and friendly staff... where nothing is to much trouble!! The best meal in our 7 day trip around the hills and mountains of this lost part of Spain. Cannot do justice to our experience. Just try it!"
