"Four of us went out for dinner on a Friday night in late September, We were warmly greeted by a lovely English speaking waitress, and despite not booking, were shown to a very comfy table.We all of us chose to eat from the 17 euro menu, and there certainly was a good choice. Our starters were all different, terrine, goat's cheese salad, oysters and one other thing which eludes me! Then one had fish beautifully presented and served with rice, one had a steak with a choice of sauces, and two of us had moules with a choice of sauces.As for desserts, one had creme brûlée, one had ice cream, one had some sort of cake dish and one was too full to eat another mouthful. The bread basket was replenished the moment it was empty. One could not ask for anything better. A perfect evening out. Thank you to all concerned."

"My husband and I know Treguier well and were shocked to be treated in such an unfriendly manner, truly bordering on hostility, which is totally untypical of the always oh so friendly locals. The chef de cuisine, ie the crêpe maker, was busy shifting tables on the terrace when we arrived but barely gave us a glance before disappearing and it took 10 minutes before an equally unfriendly waitress, who appeared to be something of a manager, appeared so we asked to place our order but found her SO unhelpful we decided to depart immediately. It would appear that this restaurant, which enjoys a prime location and unlimited business from the endless stream of tourists to this lovely town, has given up on service confident this will have no impact on their profit! It should certainly be avoided at all costs!"
