"Essential reduction of food quality I was hesitant about the purchase of carls because I had heard that they were not good. but when they opened a few years again, my experiences were very good, I could even get my wife to eat a burger, which is not easy. when my son was there, we went to lunch there (pickup, because I am not in vain). we bought a package for $35. two large burgers, two small, 4 small drinks, two rings and loaded frits. the price-performance ratio is good. service was very slow (5-10 minutes waiting at the window) but the young woman serving was very pleasant. food quality is bad. the ingredients were all at the right place, but everything was warm (not hot). the fries were warm and not completely boiled. the loaded frits were warm and chewing, not crisp. the woofer rings were warm and greasy. the burgers were warm and somehow not unforgettable. my son said he would rather eat the cheapest burger at burger king. I get the impression that they don't get much business, and as a result have bad staff levels and eating is for a long time."

"Recently went their with a girlfriend after finding most places were closed late at night. Expected low quality bar food and service (especially from the reviews I saw) but was pleasantly surprised by good service and really nice tacos and fries. So good (though it gets a bit messy and leaks as you eat them) that I had cravings for their chicken tacos again. I returned with family and there were like 6 of us and though we were the only family there, the staff were again really friendly and accomodating. The sizes and quality of their food felt quite generous. We ordered food to share and I especially enjoyed the tacos (again), criss cross fries (i get excited whenever I see restaurants serving this), nachos (SO generous packed full of meat and salsa) and ribs (not the best, but still above-average). Had a pleasant night. Think I will be back."

"Food was delicious. The curry was good but not my favorite the pumpkin was a bit undercooked and too watery for my liking and coconut flavor was too strong. This is my personal opinion but if you love coconut and soupy curry this one would be for you. Chicken strips was okay. The Pad Thai was the best. Would probably visit again yo try their other dishes."

"Sand Dunz offers the best food of all of the West Coast surf beaches. It is usually packed and it is expensive but the service is friendly and the food is good. If we have to choose between Muriwai and one of the other surf beaches that we like better, we usually choose to come to Muriwai as we know that the food is worth it."
