"This was supposed to be a delicious opportunity to celebrate Father’s Day as a family, but it turned into one of the most unpleasant dining experiences we have had in quite sometime. We arrived at our reservation time and were pleased to see the main dining room was quiet but picking up. Our server was very courteous and personable, and made us feel comfortable immediately. We did have to request water and bread a couple times before we were finally brought some, but these are common service issues and it’s not the only place it’s happened. However, shortly after our drinks arrived, another party a regular trio of patrons who were greeted by several staff was sat adjacent to our table, and they were quite rude, obnoxious and difficult to dine with using profanity several times like shthead, shut the fk up and so on, rudely speaking over each other, insulting one another and making a dinner we were looking forward to extremely unpleasant. My toddler and teenager were a little distressed with the situation. Our servers tried to make the experience positive despite the challenges and we did spend quite a bit of money on our dinner. I mentioned the situation to one of the managers Adam and he conceded about there being a “condition” to be sensitive about regarding the patrons. As a mother to a child on the autism spectrum, I am very flexible about situations while out dining, but I truly feel this was way beyond what is allowable for other patrons of Morton’s to experience. My husband’s Father’s Day dinner was very disappointing in the end and I don’t fault the service staff, but Morton’s needs to reconsider how to accommodate patrons who affect the dining experience of others serving them drinks after drinks and giving them free reign to curse and be obnoxious in front of children and families is just not acceptable"
