"Stopped here for a coffee and asked for a espresso, 'double? ' she said.. must not have been looking to sharp.. It is tony 's estate coffee and thus pretty easy to drink. Great for that pick me up. I also got a cute little christmas cupcake with a wreath on it. If you 're up for something more substantial, they have pre made sandwiches, or made to order as well as all day breakfasts. Staff were pretty stressed as it 's very busy at the shops but certainly nice and my order came fast."

"The Gelatissimo store in Coogee is always busy as it’s located right near the beach. They have always got a great selection of flavours on offer and are always experimenting and creating new delicious flavours. They also offer a good selection of dairy free and vegan flavours which taste really good."

"We went in to Pavel & Co for an early breakfast. You need to order and pay at the counter but the food is delivered to your table when ready. I had the Bircher muesli which sounded great on the menu - oats, green tea, natural yogurt, seeds and nuts. In reality, it was pretty average - the green tea just tasted like apple juice and there were just some pumpkin seeds and almonds. Yawn. Coffee was decent. My friend had no complaints about her mushroom burger though the bun to filling ratio seemed heavily skewed towards the bun. Not a bad spot for breakfast and I'm keen to return for the lunch menu."

"I’ve heard a lot of great things about this place so I wanted to come here and try their milkshakes. I ordered the golden gay time one and was shocked by how big the milkshake was. It was $15 which is definitely expensive for a drink but it was literally the size of a meal... it included a whole golden gaytime ice cream as well."

"Didn't realise there was a lovely swimming pool with lanes in the gardens and neither did we know it had a lovely quiet restaurant with views over part of the harbour. Had a very pleasant meal served by attentive staff. So different from the melee...at the main restaurant in the park with all the families and school children. Not expensive and good coffee."

"I visited Piccolo Me for brunch with some friends recently and I was a little underwhelmed. I didn't order the famous 'Nutella Bomb' (iced coffee isn't really my thing, I'm a quadruple shot long black kinda girl), but I tried some of my friend's and it was as delicious as all of the reviews have made it out to be. The rest of the food, however, was merely average. I ordered the American cheeseburger with pickles and it was fine (brioche bun, nice sauce, decent cheese, okay patty), but nothing to write home about. The shoestring fries that accompanied the burger were well-seasoned, but overcooked. They were overly hard and lacked the tiny bit of 'give' that make thin fries (think maccas style) so very satisfying.&nbsp;<br> <br> In terms of layout and service, Piccolo Me is very cute and their staff seemed really friendly and helpful. The coffee (yuuuup, quadruple shot long black) was also way better than I was expecting -- so they do have quite a few positive ticks from me... <a class="read-more" href="#">read more</a>"
