"Sitting on Sunday morning at 7 a.m. and it was nice and quiet. The Shamrock Eggs Benny. I enjoyed it, but wished the mushrooms were first beautified. The waitress was friendly and efficient. Prices are very reasonable for what you get. In any case, some things will try again on the menu."

"Incredible value and hearty food! This hole in the wall diner has that classic feel to it (been around for over 70 years so makes sense) and super friendly service. Food is made fresh in front of your eyes the moment you order. We got the B&H Special Omelette and the Challah French toast both generous servings too. "The only worthwhile thing about this place is the people-watching view on Lexington Ave or an outdoor table along 62nd St. Like most diners in the neighborhood the prices are ridiculous for the quality of the food. An average-at-best burger ends up costing $20+ ... just go to any nearby steakhouse or bistro for an EXCELLENT burger at or near the same price. Breakfast is more of the same: a standard combo breakfast: eggs, bacon, toast and coffee? That'll be $25,please! The servers are gruff at best and surly at worst."

"No stars. So many stories of how the owner is rude. The waitresses are rude as well. My friend who was 9 months pregnant, had to use the bathroom and was refused. Today two elderly gentleman were told to leave when questioned why one of them couldn t sit and wait for his friend to come. These men fought for this country and this owner is this rude to our service men. Do yourself a favor and go to Mikes diner"
