"I liked the Greek style ambiance and the music. Although the waitresses were kind and polite, they kind of rushed us to get our order and when we asked about the plates, they didn?t know much about them... I ordered the Greek combo, salad and rice were fine, grape leaves were tasty, pita bread was warm and soft, I liked it. My boyfriend got the gyros sandwich, which was plain, basic, meat was tender but could have been more tasteful... At least I got to try the food of this place, but I wouldn?t come back. Sorry"

"Nice small place at the heart of escondido downtown for breakfast, good service and food quality. Kids liked their pan cakes and hot chocolate there. I tried breakfast special, prime rib eggs Benedict with house potatoes. It was delicious. Breakfast tacos were good too. Will go there again to try other items in the menu. We arrived little after 9 am and there wasn't any wait so that's big plus."

"Excellent food. Weird order process. The menu does not include pastries so must be ordered separately. I ordered and the lady tells me I need a table number. I panic because there is a huge line behind me. I grab a table big enough to feed the Turkish army. I get my pastry and coffee but my eggs later. I don't get silverware. : The coffee is very good. :"

"All I can say is I really don't want this restaurant to leave again. This place is old school with a lot of family history. There are no fancy backgrounds or fruity distractions. The family is super nice to converse with, no attitude like you have at some of the other Mex places in town. Oh, and the food is outstanding. Lots of homemade recepies of course. My fav items... Thier enchiladas suizas, carne asada soft tacos, shredded chicken burritos, and of course they have excellent rice and beans, a must. They even have ground beef, which I know is not a glorious meat, but I like it! Even thier Iced tea is great, haha. Cristina and Cynthia have always been super pleasant!"
