"A very pleasant spot, near the train station and not far from the tourist areas. Inexpensive. One topped baked potato is an ample dinner by European standards. As of this writing, it's all vegetarian with vegan options. The topping quantity is reasonable, so it's not all just potato. Nice outdoor seating, and adjacent to a small park with other little restaurants, bars, ice cream shops, etc. nearby if you want to make a picnic out of it."

"The Ballplatzcafé is a very cozy café. Even when you arrive, a pleasant scent flows against you, slightly after cinnamon, after cocoa... However, I find it somewhat annoying that it is probably a Mainz 05 location and accordingly these are gathered here on certain days. Personally, I don't have much to do with it, so I feel it as disturbing. Otherwise, the services are nice, quick as to order and usually also quite pretty; There are chairs with tables, there are so bar stools, and also leather chairs or Sofas. It's a bit dark, but it's a cozy touch. Cake top!"

"Beautiful Japanese noodle bar with some outside areas. The food is freshly prepared and very good. The atmosphere is very cozy. On Saturday you usually have to wait for a table. Reservations are not accepted. Good value for money. Incl. children's menu for a few euros."
