"We visited a very quiet evening in the january. there were only 2 other small groups (2 and 4 people) in the restaurant next to the 3 of us. we were all around 6:15 there and had ordered at 18:25. nothing happened until 7:25, when the table of 2 got a paper bag and rushed out of the restaurant that looked furios, this was her evening meal and they were late for a 7:30 show and then the table of 4 rose up and went out without getting food. our meals finally arrived at 7:45 o'clock, an hour and twenty minutes after the order. the waitresses have never given us an explanation for the delay, much less apologising to the inconvenience, even if I asked them why eating was so slow. this is far from the type of service that I would expect from any restaurant, much less that is as expensive as this! I had much better service in a food dish! I have even sent the restaurant administration by email to tell them about our experience and guess what they have not answered. my advice is to never go to the young alfred. there are much better places in circular quay."
