"Outstanding quality ... lovely place, lovely people, lovely furnishing! On a business trip in Piedmont I looked for restaurants around my hotel. I discovered this gem hidden in a small hamlet, easy reach from Alessandria Ovest motorway exit (Alessandria West). Don't get scared about countryside road, in winter time evening high beams all the way, navigator will help you finding the place! Reservation very much advised: the place is more like a house than a restaurant, lovely furnished by the owner, with very talented , friendly and smiley staff, has several rooms, but they fill up quickly! Menu: very nicely combined choice of grilled meat in several qualities, seasoned, and a superb choice of pizza. One will think pizza at a restaurant? Definitely! I discovered a pizza I do not remember having tasted and looked so great since 30+ years of business travelling worldwide, with fresh ingredient really f r e s h. Inspiring pizza with vegetable, the taste combined with crumbs of cheese was a taste triumph, accompanied by a cuvee white whine. Delightful sweet millefoglie scomposto, presented as a small painting and architectural masterpiece, was the right end to dinner. As a seasoned traveler it's rather seldom getting so excited after a dinner. This is one occasion were the 5 dots wouldn't be enough, for me it's 5 dot plus. The atmosphere was even cozier with fireplace lighted and rooms fully in festive Christmas mood, after all only 40 days left to the Eve! An address to keep dear in the wallet anytime in the future.
