"This is our second and last dinner at Per Lei. The big problem is the food. Tough pasta. Stale white bread. Overcooked fish. Poorly prepared artichokes. There were 6 of us and the lousy food was universal. The second problem is the service. Despite plenty of staff and a manager hovering in the back, there was minimal attention. This has not hurt their business. It's been around for years and is popular. So they don't need to improve. If you want good food or good service, this is not the place."
