"We made a stopover in Tullamore for only one night. The attraction of the city being the wisky factory of the same name, it was unthinkable to leave without putting your feet there. Group visits are organized by hours. We arrived from the opening at 9:30 but we had to wait for 10:15. Think about calling them the day before. We were lucky not to have had other visitors joining our group. Our guide was thus admirable by kindly answering any questions, with the difficulties of the language barrier. Everything is presented, from the raw material toe, corn at different stages of whisky development, through several rooms illustrating them. You will then pass in a furnace, near a distillation oven. Language is quite technical, which makes understanding sometimes very difficult, especially when you are not at all amateur of this drink. But I took a certain pleasure to instruct myself in this place, both modern and that has kept a spirit of old times. The visit ends with the tasting of 3 whisky. All their range is available in addition to the bar ~7€. If you go around, don't hesitate, it's worth it. And thank you to our guide!"
