"My partner and I visited Cafe Anatolia just by chance on Friday, 25 November while away for the weekend. We walked past the most amazing smell coming out of this place and we couldn't walk away. We ordered a lamb kebab each and ate outside. We have had many kebabs in our time and I have even eaten them in Turkey but these were fantastic. If you want to eat inside it's pleasantly coloured with turkish cushions and the staff are friendly. We drove from Napier to Hastings on our second day on holiday just to have another kebab. If we lived down there we would definitely be eating there once a week. If you are in the area you have to check them out!"

"My kebab was supposed to have double satay and extra cheese unfortunately I couldn’t taste either of them and it was only a small kebab as for the baclava that I purchased the fact that it was dry and hard prompted me to leave this review it was nothing like the baclava I have at the other Turkish kebab shop in town which was moist and soft and beautiful I’m not sure if these people are Turkish but that is not backava and maybe you should put more sauce on the kebab when somebody asks for extra sauce and actually put a proper serving of cheese on when extra cheese is asked for and charged for. Gave it three star because the kebab was not distasteful but it wasn’t brilliant either and the cheese and extra satay sauce would have made all the difference"
