"Enjoyed my experience as the ambience was amazing but from what we payed I expected more from the staff. Thought this would be a great spot for our anniversary because I saw the restaurant gave these cute cards. I included this in our reservation and saw other tables had it but we did not You're definitely paying for the view because everything was okay."

"It's kind of interesting that Portland is known to be one of the most dog friendliest cities, but a lot of breweries and establishments don't allow dogs inside. In Seattle, almost all breweries allow dogs. Weird since this place is called Lucky LABRADOR and their mascot is a dog? There is a nice big patio with their own private lot, but that tables are dirty. There was a pretty thick layer of just dust and dog hair. The beer was mid. The Caesar salad's dressing was odd- it was tangy. The Reuben was good! Good flavors and held together. The salas was good too!"

"The old market pub ALWAYS meets the place for me. Since I was a child, there are so many outstanding aspects of this institution. At first they brew many of their own drinks and while I didn't have all their homemade cider and root beer (yes, root beer! They're excellent. Secondly, food is always great. It's surprising given the variety on the menu, but I'm not sure if I ever had a bad experience with the food here. And finally the service is notch. The waiting staff is fast and attentive and they pay attention to details such as the search for extra sauce or no ice cream or something. They always deserve their tips! Very recommended if you are looking for a neighborhood connection to take friends, family, employees, dates, etc. You have something for everyone and you will not be disappointed. Would give 10/5 if I could."

"I’m a native Chicagoan who’s lived in PDX for over 10 years. This was an edible pizza. But it’s not deep dish. We ordered a pepperonis and a four cheese. There is not nearly enough pepperoni or sauce to qualify this a a Chicago deep dish. I was optimistic that we’d found a place. Crust was tasty, but toppings lacked. I have to agree with other reviewers that The Star is the closest I’ve come to authentic Chicago deep dish."
