"Disappointing. Having got married at the Barns, we had been looking forward to returning. We had one afternoon tea previously which was excellent. This one was not. The sandwiches were edible, but rather lack lustre. The scones were the best thing on the tea, but the cakes were just sponge slices and two mini macaroons. Coffee was as expected. We asked for bottomless Prosecco as previously, but our young server Tom, who did his best was clearly unsure, but provided entertainment in watching him move tables outside through the window. It was at that time we were awaiting service. It was sad for us, especially as we felt we had some kind of affinity with The Barns."
