"I had the Cavatelli Pasta. It was delicious. The sauces was creamy, pasta done nicely and overall flavor excellent. It was delivered quickly and was warm when I got it. I would have liked to get some bread to sop up the delicious sauce. On the negative side the appetizer was wrong. I ordered the Affettati Misti and ended up with fruit and cheese gorgonzola which I hate. Price was ok, but would have been more reasonable had I gotten the right Affettati Misti ."

"I booked Water and Wine with high hopes for my husband’s birthday. Restaurant itself was dumpy and outdated, and didn’t seem very clean. There was a dead fly on the window sill next to my seat. The windows facing the Watchung Lake had giant bugs crawling all over the outside which made me lose my appetite almost immediately. The host and servers weren’t welcoming or warm very “all business” and gruff attitude. The food itself was the biggest disappointment all our dishes were either inedible or subpar with zero presentation we got the burrata (had a sour taste as if it was old), octopus (had a fishy taste unlike any other octopus I’ve had before… which is a lot) for appetizer. We barely touched the apps. For entrees, my husband got the lamb chops medium well (they were cooked to medium rare). I got the short rib pappardelle, which was okay but tasted like a diner dish. We were so deflated from the mediocre meal that we skipped dessert and got the check and booked it home"

"Terrible. Went to Johnny Carinos on s. walker last night for my daughters birthday. Should have gone anywhere else. I had the salmon dinner and it had so much sauce poured on it the fish was mushy. She had the bowtie dinner and it was so dry she couldn't eat it. My grandaughters had fett. alfredo which was so dry they asked for a side of sauce and it didn't even help. A lot of money to leave hungry. When we got up to leave the couple in the booth beside were complaining about their chicken not being done. This place needs a new chef and a new manager."
