"Our son was missing pasta after several days of tasty Portuguese cuisine so we reserved here. The menu, including craft beer seemed to warrant the good reviews. Just lovely food and friendly service. Our waiter was really helpful and spoke great English. We had very fine starters cheese and ham etc but the star was the pasta. My wife and I had ravioli mine octopus, hers prawn both so tasty and fresh. Our son is autistic and likes simple garlic bread and pasta with no parmesan we requested but his cane with lots if cheese. We tried to suggest he mix it in, but with no complaint the restaurant cooked a new plate up in less than 10 min. Happy son. Less stressed parents. Really lovely place. It was our last night in Tavera else we would return. The pizza looked great too with some rich options. Both craft beer tried very good. Highly recommended."

"We wanted pizza and we came here after reading Trip Advisor. Restaurant is tucked on a side street on the way to city center. Modern abd clean yet very cozy place. Staff are super friendly and aim to please! Prices are very reasonable. Pizza large enough to share with others. We had the anchovy pizza- it was seasoned perfectly with just the right amount of anchovies . It was 8.50 euro. We also had caprese salad (5.50 euro plenty for 2 with tomatoes black olives and mozzarella cheese and nice olive oil. We also had fried squid (7 euro which were very tender and not greasy- they even made hubby cocktail sauce when he requested it. To round it out we had a nice bottke of Albarino wine for 10e and server even brought me ice for my water (a rarity in Europe! . They even deliver!"

"Had a meal here based on Tripadvisor reviews. It was nice, greeted by Raphael who was very pleasant and showed us to our table. Waitress then arrived with menus and explained that the Italian section of menu was not available as the chef was off. We ordered the cheese starters which were very tasty. The mains fillet mignon was served with chips and salad. The mushroom sauce was gluey and covered the beef it would be best served in a side dish. We chose a local wine which was nice. Overall the evening was pleasant but unfortunately no atmosphere"

"Not our trip to Pedro's and it won't be our last. meals... Baccalau Pedro style cod fish pie with layers of sliced potato, peppers, onion, garlic and topped with cheese. Very tasty and probably slightly better than the fish pie on the...menu at Sabores. Sea bass not filletted but that's OK. Well cooked and served with salad and spuds. Good taste and they know how to cook a fish Lamb chops not as big a portion as Monteiro but still very well cooked and tasty. Mixed meat kebab chicken, pork and steak. All well cooked and tender. Served with a garlic looking dip, but no specific taste and a large portion of chips. Good but not as tasty as the meat kebab Madeira style at Monteiro. All in all good food, wine was very good too and remains a popular choice."

"We went here while on holiday. The pizzas were great and very reasonable. They do take away as well. Lovely service and also the wine is very good and half bottle of red wine for 5 euro's."
